Family Day and School & Parish Fiesta
🎉 A Day of Faith, Family, and Fun! 🎉
What a glorious celebration we had on October 12th for our annual Family Day and School & Parish Fiesta!
The day began with a beautiful Sung Mass for the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary - Our Lady of Victories, where the OLVC Choir and Schola reverently performed the "Misa Coral San Pío X." The church was filled to capacity, followed by a deeply moving procession and the singing of the traditional "Despedida a la Virgen."
The celebration continued with pure joy as families and parishioners enjoyed: the main game, Loteria, with cheers and plenty of prizes, a wonderful array of booths organized by dedicated teachers and parishioners, and fantastic performances from our talented students and teachers!
Thank you to everyone who made this day a truly memorable convergence of faith, community, and fun! 🙏

Feast of Our Lady of Victories
Misa Cantada
👑 Celebrating Our Lady of Victories! 👑
What a beautifully solemn and inspiring day we shared at the Feast of Our Lady of Victories Misa Cantada!
The Holy Mass was truly elevated by the celestial music, featuring a sublime performance by a string quartet and the majestic organ. We were especially proud to have the participation of the students from Our Lady of Victories Catholic School, contributing to the liturgy.
It was a heartfelt and profound demonstration of faith and piety towards the Virgin Mother God, who is Help of Christians and Cause of our Joy, through the Holy Roman Liturgy. A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this glorious evening possible: our devoted parishioners, supportive parents, our wonderful students and teachers, generous sponsors, and especially the talented choir, skillfully led by Mr. Victor Gregory Cahapay.
May Our Lady of Victories bless us all! 🙏

Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan 2025
We joyfully look back at a cherished tradition that beautifully celebrates our faith and heritage:
Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan!
Throughout the month of May, every Wednesday, the OLVCS community gathers for Flores de Mayo. This beautiful devotion, where we pray the Holy Rosary and offer flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a cornerstone of faith in Catholic countries like the Philippines and holds profound importance for a Catholic school like ours. It's a time to honor Mary, deepen our spiritual connection, and reflect on Our Lady's virtues.
The month of Marian devotion culminated in a magnificent Santacruzan on the 31st of May 2025, coinciding with the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This began with the Flores de Mayo, followed by the Holy Mass for the Queenship of Mary, followed by a vibrant indoor prusisyon (procession) and presentations, bringing biblical and historical figures to life.
Our talented OLVCS students and staff truly shone in their roles:
Mary Marcel Caitlin as Reina Elena
Xander Ngiap Hon as Constantine
Mary Rose Joy Cruz as Reina Fe
Ronan Tampinco as Escort of Reina Fe
Sophia Lourdes De Leon as Reina Caridad
Joachim Buenaventura as Escort of Reina Caridad
Catherine Valentino as Reina Esperanza
Vossler Clark Vista as Escort of Reina Esperanza
Mr. Edward Lopez as Obispo
Benedicta Bañares as Babaeng naghihingalo
Selected PYP students as AVE MARIA angels
The celebration was further enriched by captivating cultural performances: our PYP students graced us with the charming Cariñosa, while MYP male students delivered a powerful Binislakan, and MYP female students enchanted with the graceful Pandanggo sa Ilaw.
It's a time to honor Mary, to praise and exalt Her virtues, and to reaffirm our resolve to imitate and follow Her examples.
High School Academic Week 2025
We are thrilled to revisit one of the most dynamic and culturally rich events: High School Academic Week 2025!
From May 19 to 23, our campus buzzed with excitement as students embarked on a global and academic adventure themed "Festivals Around the World." Divided into dedicated groups, each student carried a special passport, collecting stamps and stickers at daily checkpoints as they explored into diverse cultural celebrations.
Day 1 kicked off with Languages and Literature, featuring our vibrant Lingua Fest inspired by the Tulip and Panagbenga Festivals, complete with engaging games like Blindman's Buff and Hilahang Lubid. Day 2 transitioned to Math, Science, and Social Studies, where creativity took flight with Dragon Boat Races (launching boats made from recycled bottles!) and the luminous Lantern Festival (lighting up handmade plastic lanterns). Students also explored the spirit of the Pahiyas Festival, learning about harvesting and practical math in selling and buying.
Day 3 was a spectacular showcase of Religion, Physical and Health Education, and Arts. We celebrated the Maskara Festival with student-designed masks and school-wide voting, and honored the Pintados Festival by designing their own shirts. PE brought high-energy Minute to Win It games and fitness relays featuring table tennis and basketball, while Music explored 'Pass the Melody,' and Religion engaged minds with Bible Taboo and Bean Bag Toss.
Day 4 embraced traditional Filipino culture with morning Larong Pinoy, specifically Patintero, followed by dedicated rehearsals for the grand finale. The week culminated on Day 5 with a magnificent Exhibit showcasing students' outstanding outputs from the entire academic year! From innovative products in MYP Design (Film & Theatre and Tailoring) and dynamic PE dance presentations, to thrilling Science rocket launching, insightful Grade 12 Research paper, impressive MYP 5 Personal Project, and exceptional works across Math, Arts, Science, Individuals and Societies, Languages (English and Filipino), and Religion – it was a true testament to their year-long dedication and inquiry. The Academic Week concluded with a joyous Awarding Ceremony celebrating the winning team and best exhibit presentations.

PYP Exhibition 2025
Our students explored how technological innovations, both big and small, play a vital role in improving the way we live, learn, and grow as a community. Through research, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, they showcased impressive projects that addressed real-life challenges using simple machines and purposeful technology.
We were honored to have our beloved School Principal, Rev. Fr. Fidel Ferrer, who shared his valuable insights on the role of technology and its proper usage in shaping the community. His message deeply inspired our learners to pursue innovation with purpose and heart. The event was meaningfully concluded by Rev. Fr. Longinus Kim, whose words of encouragement reminded us to stay grounded in faith as we move forward with modern ideas.

PYP Field Trip 2025
Our young inquirers explored the world beyond the classroom, starting with the Gardenia Factory, where they discovered the fascinating journey of how bread is made, from mixing dough to packing loaves, sparking curiosity about food production and technology. At Bahay ni Maria, students engaged in meaningful interactions with the elderly, exchanging smiles, stories, and songs that reminded us all of the value of compassion and service. The day concluded at Sta. Elena Fun Farm, where our learners experienced hands-on outdoor learning, met farm animals, and enjoyed nature-based activities that fostered teamwork, inquiry, and a love for the environment.
This memorable field trip was made even more special by the presence of our dear School Principal, Rev. Fr. Fidel Ferrer, our ever-dedicated teachers, and our supportive and engaged parents, whose involvement added warmth, guidance, and encouragement throughout the journey.
Truly, it was a meaningful day of learning, service, and joy, a true celebration of the PYP spirit in action!
