Message from the Head of School
Why Traditional Catholic Education?
A Message from the School Principal
Every school day at Our Lady of Victories Catholic School begins with the Tridentine Mass — students and teachers gather in the church to offer the un-bloody on Our Lord on the Cross. Traditional Catholic education emphasizes that the true end goal of education is to know, love, and serve God. One gains knowledge of our God Who we do not see by studying His creatures, and knowing Him and His benevolence, will make us love Him, and loving Him will make us serve Him. toward Our Lord as the Source of all wisdom and the Greatest Teacher. Traditional Catholic teachers always remember that the true vocation of each child is not college or a career, but Heaven.
We understand that the great danger children face in today's world is confusion. Intellectual confusion from media that presents falsehoods as truth. Spiritual confusion from the watering down of traditional Catholic doctrine and liturgy. And moral confusion from a growing culture of "tolerance" that is mere relativism in disguise. Without proper guidance and training, a modern child may never learn to discern truth from lies, devotion from emotion, and right from wrong. In direct opposition to this danger, Our Lady of Victories Catholic School offers clarity. Intellectual clarity is grounded in reason, spiritual clarity is grounded in traditional worship, and moral clarity is grounded in theological and moral virtues.
Our Lady of Victories Catholic School nurtures both natural virtue and the supernatural life. With an emphasis on liberal studies, students develop intellectual rigor and enter more deeply into their Traditional Catholic heritage. They learn to sing as a choir and to play a musical instrument, both to nurture their appreciation of culture and beauty and to enhance the liturgy and traditional devotions with well-performed sacred music. All of these in mind to bring the souls of the children closer to their Heavenly Father.
As principal, I invite you to explore our website, stop in, and talk to parents of current students.
In Christ,

History
In the year 2004, a meeting was held among dedicated parents and wise prior of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. It was a meeting that would give rise to the founding of Our Lady of Victories Catholic School of Quezon City. This school was founded with the purpose of providing the children with a solid traditional Catholic education.
With such an important mission, it was entrusted to the care of Our Lady. It was decided that the school would be named Our Lady of Victories Catholic School of Quezon City and would be located in the basement of Our Lady of Victories Church. Before long, the parish was looking for new space to accommodate its quickly growing population. Providentially, our neighbor was selling a property with existing buildings which suited fine for a small developing school. The parishioners became actively involved in the workings of the school, and were determined to make OLVCS a success for Our Lady and for the Philippines!
School Patroness
The Patroness of the school is the Blessed Virgin Mary with the title Our Lady of Victories to honor Our Lady for the many miraculous victories obtained by poor helpless faithful through praying the Holy Rosary.
One of the most significant victories recorded was the Battles of La Naval in Manila in the year 1646. The combined Spanish and Filipino forces, who fought and won over the invading Dutch forces in Manila Bay, placed themselves under the protection of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and prayed the Holy Rosary repeatedly to be delivered from the imminent threat. Victorious in battle, the Spanish and Filipino forces shouted “Hail Mary! Long Live the Faith in Christ and the Most Holy Virgin of the Rosary!” On April 9, 1662, the Cathedral Chapter of the Archdiocese of Manila declared the naval victory a miraculous event owed to the intercession of the Virgin Mary.
